For pregnant women who need clean toilets — fast

Pregnant — Finding decent toilets in urgency

When baby presses on the bladder and you have 2 minutes max to find somewhere decent.

Context

In the third trimester, 8 to 10 times a day. Every time is urgent. No time to wait for the "right" toilet — need to know where they are, and that they're clean.

Before going out

The gesture: In the app, spot 3 clean toilets on your route. Filter "Verdict ≥ 4/5" + "wheelchair access" (more space). 2 mins prep, 0 stress.

Avoid: Winging it. At 32 weeks, "I'll find something" ends in tears at a bakery that refuses you.

💡 Tip: Keep 2 packs of wipes + trash bag in your bag. For EVERYTHING (especially surprises).

Spot the place

The gesture: Restaurants/hotels usually accept pregnant women even without ordering. Be direct: "I'm pregnant, can I use the toilets?". 95% say yes.

Avoid: Long justification. "I'm pregnant" is enough. No life story needed.

Bowl + handrail

The gesture: If there's a wheelchair bar: use it. More stable. If the seat is dirty, wipe with a tissue (never bare hands).

Avoid: The squat "don't touch". Your pelvis hates it, your back too. Sit, really.

Position

The gesture: Lean slightly forward, feet flat. If your feet don't touch, ask for a stool (or bag/book). Baby pushes, you push, it follows.

Avoid: Pushing while holding breath. Breathe during the push. Silly but helps.

Enhanced intimate hygiene

The gesture: Wipe front to back. Always. UTIs are 3x more common while pregnant — prevention is free.

Avoid: Aggressive soap on intimate areas. Water + pH-neutral soap, or nothing.

Flush + check

The gesture: Flush and check. If you notice anything unusual in urine (blood, very dark) — no panic, but note for next appointment.

Avoid: Denial "it's nothing". Your body speaks. Listen, without paranoia.

Seat + exit

The gesture: Lower the seat (hormones make an open seat even more annoying for the next, be in solidarity). Then open door with a tissue.

Avoid: The shoulder push "I'm done, leaving fast". You'll pass the door again in 2h, leave it clean.

Hands — non-negotiable

The gesture: Soap, 20 sec. Critical: you'll re-touch belly, face, sandwich. Baby is less armed against germs.

Avoid: Hand sanitizer alone. Removes some, not all. If no soap available, better than nothing — but report it.
