Toilets with a little one is a three-handed choreography you haven't practiced. Diaper bag, wipes, sometimes questionable table, wriggling mini. Here's how to stay in control (and keep your dignity).

The gesture: Spot the changing table. In the app, filter "changing table" — you save 5 minutes of stress. Pull out wipes, clean diaper, trash bag before starting.
Avoid: Discovering there's no changing table once locked inside with a crying baby.
The gesture: Lay a towel or disposable changing pad on the table. Always. Even if it looks clean. Especially if it looks clean.
Avoid: Putting baby directly on the shared plastic. Baby's skin deserves better.
💡 Tip: Disposable changing pads weigh 10g in your bag and you toss them after use. Magic.
The gesture: One hand on baby at all times. Always. Non-negotiable — baby can roll in 2 seconds.
Avoid: Letting go to grab a wipe from the other end of the bag. Prepare EVERYTHING before.
The gesture: Roll the diaper on itself, seal with adhesive tabs, slide into the dedicated trash bag. Toss in the bin or take with you.
Avoid: The unrolled diaper in the bathroom bin. For the next person. You know the rest.
💡 Tip: No bin? A dedicated bag in your bag, throw out outside. Avoid the "I leave it there" option.
The gesture: Disinfecting wipe on the table — entire surface used. For the next family. Parent solidarity.
Avoid: Leaving without cleaning because "it's not my job". The next person will have the same reflex.
The gesture: If baby can wait in the stroller/carrier: secure and apply the adult code. Otherwise, baby on your lap, we adapt.
Avoid: Giving the phone to baby for 30 seconds. It feeds screen-dependence, and the changing table is chaotic enough.
The gesture: Yours AND baby's. Soap for you, soft wipe for baby. You can't skip, you're both heading off to a snack.
